VOX Music Festival

Music festivals often promote large, well known artists. But what about the small and upcoming artists? VOX Music Festival is a made up event that recognizes and showcases small and upcoming artists. This festival brings people together to support and celebrate new music, helping them to reach a bigger audience at this one day event. 

The name VOX was chosen because in latin it means “voice.” The word represents how this music festival is showcasing the voices of smaller artists. The logo is inspired by the visualization of sound waves and sound bars from when artists record new music. This allows for a dynamic logo that is exciting and energetic. The color palette used throughout the brand identity is bright and electric, representing the high energy that comes with going to a music festival. 

To promote the festival, a series of Instagram and Snapchat posts are created to reach the audience through social media. Web banner advertisements promote the festival online and lead viewers to the festival’s website where they can purchase tickets and view the lineup of artists. An email blast and direct mailer are also sent out as promotional items. A poster was created to show the festival lineup in public, enticing viewers in.

At the event itself, digital signs welcome festival goers, once again showing the lineup of who is performing. A digital sign constantly shows who is currently performing, that way you’ll always know who’s on stage. Like any concert or festival, t-shirts can be purchased to commemorate the event.
